I'm off to Santa Monica on Wednesday morning. I haven't been to southern Cali in a while, and I'm looking forward to catching up with some old acquaintances. I'm staying at The Loews, which I love. We stayed at The Loews on South Beach in Miami at the end of our honeymoon and we absolutely adored it. The rooms are spacious, the service is wonderful, the pool is amazing, and the beach is just right there. The Loews in Santa Monica is also on the beach, in fact I think it is near Santa Monica Pier, but I'm not sure. I haven't had much time to research it. Work is crazy and life is pretty hectic right now what with house hunting and other family matters I'm trying to sort out. Guess I should start packing.
